Made Foods was born in October 2015 in Calgary, AB when two busy friends, Blake Ducharme and Chris Dobson discovered a need for healthy and convenient food. Both busy entrepreneurs needed a convenient option to keep them healthy and fueled, while Chris also needed something he trusted enough to share with his young family.
This marked the beginning of Made Foods as they enlisted our city’s top Chefs, currently led by Chef Kai Salimaki and transformed their need into an opportunity to help others who faced the same daily challenge.
Fast forward a few years and we are proud to be actively involved in the community, committed to preserving the environment (learn more about out amazing team of zero wasteologists) and passionate about making fresh, healthy delicious, real food accessible to all #realfoodmovement. We are locally owned, operated and support other local businesses in all that we do. We hope you enjoy our fresh, locally sourced, locally made delicious meals.
Our focus is on good for you convenient food that tastes great. From fresh salads, sandwiches, entrees, power bowls and more our menu has something for everyone and caters to all dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy aware).

All our meals are produced in our 3300 square foot kitchen at our Calgary head office.
We rotate our menu seasonally, following the growing patterns of our local farmers and creating variety for our customers.
Over 80% of our menu is gluten aware! #takethatgluten
Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience in the restaurant and service industry.
In 2018, we were recognized as one of the top 4 Calgary finalists for the Social Entrepreneur Award by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
