We are passionate about growing a community that supports real, local, sustainable food and are thrilled to have partnerships with other local organizations that share this same vision.
In addition to a long list of local farmers and producers who we work with daily, here is a look at some of our other local partners:
Calgary Chamber of Commerce
Being a member of the Calgary Chamber of commerce we receive support and guidance with navigating everyday business obstacles.
An amazing organization that connects and supports local Calgary small businesses.
Run Calgary
Run Calgary exists to create and deliver unique events to keep our community moving, crushing goals, supporting one another and awesome causes,
all while having a great time and doing something good for our health.
Local businesses (#shopyyc)
#SHOPYYC Say no more! We are huge supporters of local businesses in our community. One of the ways we support this movement is by purchasing local ingredients for our recipes and by bringing local products into our own retail stores for sale. From Rosso Coffee Roasters, True Buch Kombucha, The Gut Lab, Little Tuckers and more we are proud to offer products from amazing local brands.
Community Wholesale Foods
Community Natural Foods was founded in 1977 by the Wilkes brothers. The brothers grew Community with the intention of providing Calgarians with natural and organic food at a great price. The business flourished as discerning customers could now find delicious alternatives to the artificial ingredients found in many foods sold at conventional supermarkets.
Calgary Co-op
Calgary Co-op has been serving Calgarians since 1956 when we opened our first store with local farmers and ranchers selling fresh, farm-to-table foods—even before farm-to-table was a buzzword. Based here in Calgary, Co-op prefers to source as much of our food as possible from Calgary, across Alberta, and throughout western Canada.
Rosso Coffee Roasters
It all began in September 2007, when a dream was realized and Ramsay opened its doors. Over the next few years, we would open a new location in Calgary's downtown core and a third cafe location in Victoria Park. As a company, we have now traveled to Guatemala, Costa Rica, Rwanda, Myanmar, Brazil, Burundi and Colombia to purchase green coffee directly from producers establishing relationships. We strategically purchase our coffee with the intention of having it on the menu for six months. The idea is to always have the freshest, in-season coffee offerings available. We've visited each of these countries and we believe that the coffees we're purchasing are among some of the most interesting coffees they have to offer.
